In the world of education, “demonstration of mastery” is a recognized term of art that relates to the assessment and evaluation of student competency. In the Thinking about Tomorrow Today™ program, FolioMax™ is the demonstration of mastery. It is designed to be placed in the hands of all students from kindergarten through 12th grade and beyond. Like the Thinking about Tomorrow Today Online Resource Center™, it is a highly innovative web application that allows students to demonstrate that they have taken personal responsibility for acquiring and developing the core competency of workplace literacy.
As students record their learning, interests and growth experiences in their Workplace Journal™ over time, they will build a personal, private and portable Web-based portfolio reflecting their journey toward mastery of the Thinking about Tomorrow Today™ curriculum.
