Jim Levy brings to HCEC™ over 40 years of experience in educational publishing. He received his B.S. in Accounting and Finance from the University of Illinois in 1962 (where he played varsity football), and his B.Ed. in Business Education in 1963. He has been:

• Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of Riverdeep Interactive Learning
• President and C.O.O., Harcourt, Inc. (a subsidiary of Harcourt General, Inc.)
• President and C.E.O., School Division of MacMillan/McGraw-Hill School Publishing Co.
• President and C.E.O., Merrill Publishing Co.
• President and General Manager, Higher Education Division of McGraw-Hill, Inc

Jim is President and Founder of The Essex Group, a management consulting firm that specializes in educational publishing. He serves on several boards, among which are Houghton Mifflin, Teachers College Columbia University and the Home for Little Wanderers.
